Baby Update & photo

Here is our most recent picture of the little one. It is from our 36 week appointment. The doctor's words were "Chubby cheeks, big lips, cute nose, and no beard, so must be a girl...........or boy!" She just loves teasing that she is letting the gender slip. But we have made it this far, so there is no way we will break down and find out before we actually get to see the little one in the outside world. Everything looks great with the baby, great heart beat and lots of moving around. He/she was actually moving quite a bit during the appointment.

Thanks to everyone for all your prayers after I was in the hospital! At one point there was talk of needing to induce at 36 weeks if the baby didn't move off of my kidney. There was fear of loss of kidney function. As you can see, that did not need to happen. The baby decided on his/her own to move off of my kidney and therefore gets to come when he/she is ready! Chris and I are ready to meet our little one and introduce him/her to you all. We will continue to keep you updated when our little one decides to make an appearance!
