Anastasia decided to post the last entry without pictures, so here are some recent pics of the kids :)

It's been too long!

It has been way to long since I have updated here, I know :) We've had a very busy summer, Elijah turned 2 and Anastasia is now 9 months old. I can't believe how fast the last year went. It seems like we just had Elijah's 1st birthday.
Elijah is quite the big brother, he loves playing with Anastasia and has discovered how to "boss" her around :) He likes policing her, but he is also looking out for her. He has become a big talker and loves to ask "What's that, Mama?". He is so inquisitive about the world around him.
Anastasia has discovered the joys of crawling, including climbing. She keeps us all on our toes chasing her off the stairs. She loves that she can stand up and be a part of what everyone else is doing. She has also gotten two teeth which means she can eat food just like the rest of us. She is so interested in sharing "big people food".
Both kids are very happy and very healthy. We are truly blessed!

June and Anastasia's 6 months old!

What a busy month! We have been enjoying summer and getting out as much as possible. We've made many trips to the Lincoln Zoo, had a special trip to the Omaha Zoo, and gone to outdoor kids' concerts at the Children's Museum.

Elijah is getting to be such a big boy! He is always looking out for his sister. He listens for her every morning to let me know she is awake, he will run to her when she cries to see if she needs a binky, and he loves to kiss her and make her laugh. They are playing together more and more every day! I can tell they are going to be great friends and get into lots of trouble together :)

Anastasia is 6 months old now!! Where has the time gone?! She started sitting up all by herself the beginning of June and is scooting backwards all over the living room. She attempts every now and then to get on her knees, but just hasn't figured out how to move forward. Once she does, she will be chasing her brother :) She also got to get her first taste of solid food on her 6 month b-day. She was pretty excited to be eating like the rest of us. She still has days where she isn't sure if she wants to eat the cereal, but I think she will be all over more flavorful food when she gets introduced to it.

Now on to another fun filled month and lots more growing!

May and Anastasia's 5 Months Old!

May was a busy month for us! We had crazy weather which meant one day the kids were in tank tops and the next they were in coats and hats :) But we still managed to do some fun things like trips to the zoo and the children's museum. Elijah had his 1st dentist appointment and did great! His favorite part was getting a new toothbrush :) Anastasia is getting so big! She is rolling both was and almost ready to sit all by herself! She is such a happy girl who loves mommy and daddy, but also is so excited when Elijah plays with her. The two can be found holding hands when sitting at the table or in the car. They are just too sweet!

4 months!

Wow! I can't believe she's 4 months old already! Anastasia is doing more and more every day. She loves to "chat" and giggles at the silly things Elijah does. She rolled over for the first time this month and her new favorite thing is to blow rasberries :)

Elijah is growing so much too! He is talking all the time! His favorite things to talk about and play with are Buzz and Woody. He also likes to entertain his sister, "Nana" :) Easter egg hunting was so much fun for him, he was super serious about finding all the eggs. He also enjoyed the yummy treats inside.

Both kids participated in the Great Cloth Diaper Change on April 23rd to set a Guiness Book World Record for the most cloth diapers changed simultaneously. It was a lot of fun!

Now on to an exciting May sure to be full of more growing and changing :)
